In order to strengthen e-Governance capabilities, CGG has developed an
e-Development Cell with state-of-the-art IT infrastructure having fully integrated network, data, voice and video conferencing facilities, servers with high capacity disk space, Itanium 64 Quad Processor Servers with terabyte disk space and gigabyte backbone network, 8 MBPS leased line through Software Technology Park of India, in addition to 2 MBPS leased line from Andhra Pradesh State Wide Area Network (APSWAN) supporting redundant Internet connectivity.
The e-Development Cell accommodates highly qualified software programmers, system designers and managers, who are involved in developing critical
e-Projects, e-Governance applications. The cell also houses a training centre with 40 seating capacity, which is used for imparting hands-on training to government functionaries on the usage of various e-Governance applications developed by CGG. The training centre with high end systems and LCD monitors is a visual delight and is designed to give the participants a rewarding training experience.
