The Centre for Good Governance is governed by a Board chaired by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Telangana. Other members of the Board include the Minister for Home, Minister for I&PR and Minister for Marketing & Warehousing, the Chief Secretary to Government and key Government Secretaries of the Telangana. The Board also has distinguished personalities drawn from the private sector and civil society with expertise and interest in governance reforms who bring in diverse and broader perspectives to decision making.
The research programme and other activities of the Centre are guided by a Steering Committee chaired by the Hon'ble Minister for Finance, Government of Telangana. Other members of the Steering Committee include Minister for Home, Minister for I&PR, key Government Secretaries and representatives from the private sector and civil society organizations. All executive functions of CGG are handled by the Director General, CGG who is a senior officer of the Indian Administrative Service of the rank of Principal Secretary or above.
