The Centre for Good Governance is governed by a Board, with the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh as the Chairman. The other members include five Hon'ble Ministers of Government of Andhra Pradesh : Minister for Finance (Vice-Chairman of CGG Board), Minister for Home, Minister for Industries, Minister for Roads,Buildings & Ports and Minister for School Education, the Chief Secretary to Government and key Government Secretaries, as well as distinguished personalities drawn from the private sector and civil society with expertise and interest in governance reforms.

The research programme and other activities of the Center are steered by a Steering Committee under the chairmanship of Hon'ble Minister for Finance, Government of Andhra Pradesh.The other members of the Steering Committee include Hon'ble Minister for Home, Hon'ble Minister for Irrigation, Hon'ble Minister for Industries, key Government Secretaries and representatives from the private sector and civil society organizations.
