Legislative Committee for I.T visits Centre for Good Governance

“Paperless Governance in Andhra Pradesh” is the vision of Hon’ble Speaker of AP Legislative Assembly. Sri Nadendla Manohar, Hon’ble Speaker of AP Legislative Assembly has visited the Centre for Good Governance on 30.5.2011 along with the Legislative Committee to study the I.T needs for Legislators .The committee headed by Sri. M.Rajesh Kumar held discussions with the Director General CGG and other officials regarding e-governance initiatives taken up by CGG.
The Hon’ble Speaker requested the Director General to prepare A.P.Legislature website which presents the information on the A.P. Legislature for the access of citizens and a system enabling the Legislators to know the status of pending petitions at any given point of time. The members of the committee who were present on the occasion are Dr.Banoth Chandravathi, CPI, Wyra,Khammam, Sri.Eravathri Anil Kumar, PRP ,Balkonda, Nizamabad, Sri.A.V.Praveen Kumar Reddy, TDP Thamballapalle, Chitoor,Sri.Ravula Chandrashekar Reddy, TDP Wanaparthy, M’B’Nagar, Sri. Piriya Sairaju, TDP, Ichapurapuram, Srikakulam, and Sri.K.Venkatarami Reddy, MLA, Dharmavaram, Ananthapur District.
