Position : Recruitment Notification for engaging Different Professionals for Project Management Unit (PMU) in office of State Project Director (SPD), Samagra Shiksha, Telangana, Hyderabad.

Samagra Shiksha scheme is being implemented as Centrally Sponsored Scheme by School Education department through a Single State Implementation Society (SIS) at the State Level.

Under the Scheme, the common objectives are to enhance access through the expansion of quality education, to promote equity through the inclusion of disadvantaged groups and weaker sections and to improve the quality of education by providing infrastructure facilities to schools.

For effective implementation and monitoring of the scheme at State Level and District Level, skill-oriented staff is required in this office. 

Samagra Shiksha as part of this project proposes to establish a state level PMU in Hyderabad with the personnel mentioned below.

  • To track the progress of the projects and communicate updated information to the project director
  • To assist the project director in developing reports and presentations related to the program and activities
  • Coordination with various stakeholders
  • To analyse the project activities and schedule of various events.
  • Supporting the project director on various aspects of the project implementation like project correspondence, weekly review meetings, follow-up on pending issues, etc.
  • Support in other activities as may be required from time to time

Qualification & Experience

Any Graduate

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience of working, of which, 1 or 2 years in Government sector is mandatory.
  • Experience of working in any construction company/project and supporting the CEO/Owner/Project Director/HoD in day-to-day project operations

Skill required

2. PMU for SSP – Monitoring and Evaluation Professional

  • Monitoring and evaluation of the entire project covering:

     

    • Design and development of M&E framework
    • Undertake research studies
    • Process monitoring
    • Design and development of MIS formats
    • Undertake detailed analysis of the project activities and generate reports on various parameters
  • To develop quarterly, half yearly and yearly progress reports (Physical and financial progress).
  • Monitoring the project output and outcome.
  • To support and engage in the design and management of constructive information feedback loops

  Any Post-Graduate

  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation of construction projects, of which 1 to 2 years working must be in government sector.

Experience of following is must:

  • Handling entire MIS reports of the projects
  • Development of MIS formats
  • Preparation of different reports for detailed analysis
  • Knowledge of Statistical tools
  • Developing tools for output and outcome monitoring

Knowledge of any programming language (Java / .Net) will be an advantage

5. PMU for SSP – Technical Civil Engineer

  • To manage all technical issues in the implementation of the program including:

    • preparation of data, specifications, and estimations

  • Preparation of guidelines for execution of works, type designs of various elements of the schools, drawings, and aesthetic standards.
  • Design various aspects of schools around planning, architectural designs,

  • To ensure the timely and cost-efficient completion of construction.
  • To review land surveys, assess project estimations and budgets, inspect existing structures, create design plans, and review potential safety issues.

Graduate in Civil Engineering

  • Planning and scheduling of activities
  • Risk management such as dealing with the delays in project execution, unplanned activities etc.
  • Visualisation skills (AutoCAD, tableau or R programming)
