MRK Murthy Joined CGG in June 2017 after 12 years of professional experience in Agriculture and Allied Sectors research. He did his Ph.D. in Management Science, JNTU, Master of Business Administration with specialization in Marketing & HRM, Andhra University, and Post-Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT), Hyderabad. At CGG, his work involves project execution, implementation support to the resource group activities in Agriculture, Agribusiness and allied sectors and rural development, business development such as liaison with key officials and client departments, research and publications and Internal Organisational support. Conduct Monitoring Evaluation, Impact assessment studies, Surveys on assigned subjects, Improvement of service delivery of client departments. Preparation of case studies, concept notes, project proposals, data analysis, report writing are some of the tasks.
His key interests lie in Rural and Urban Development, Policies, Governance issues, Research and development with Central & State-sponsored welfare programmes, Climate Change, Economics of R&D, Entrepreneurship, Start-ups, Monitoring & Evaluation, Managing Excellence, Analysing Competitiveness and Performance Management.
He is involved with Research and Development, Consultancy, Training, Project Management in the areas of Sustainable Agriculture Development, School & Mass Education, Panchayati Raj, Agricultural Research, Agri-Business, Agricultural Extension Services, Economic & Business Development activities such as preparation and submission of project proposals. Project planning, execution, project implementation, Results-Based Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), MIS, outcome & Impact Assessment of State and Central Sponsored Schemes, contributed internal organizational development activities. Rural Livelihood System, Women Empowerment, Performance Appraisal, Learning and Capacity Building, Organizational Change Management, Health Management Research, Organisational Development, Performance Assessments through BSC, AHP, HRM and Administration of training programmes, Academic Programmes, Conferences and Workshops smoothly. Conducted field surveys, evaluation & impact assessment studies. Expertise in SPSS, CS Pro, E-Views, SAS, Arc View GIS, etc. Published 26 peers reviewed Scientific Journals in Agriculture and Allied Sectors. He was involved in various development projects such as Agriculture action research, project coordination, preparation of RFP/ToR/reports/outcome budget/resource material for workshop/training programmes, contract management, conduct evaluation and Impact assessment of flagship schemes of Odisha, etc.
He has more than 12 Years of Professional experience in Central, State Government, NGO, and Social sector. 4 years of experience in Health Management Research, Rural and Urban Poverty, Department of Science & Technology in ASCI. 6 + Years of professional experience in Agriculture, Agribusiness & Rural Development and allied sectors in National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Worked as a Project Manager – Research & Consultancy in STEM Group, Bangalore and Agri-Business Expert & In-Charge of Market Linkage Specialist with the Convergence of Agricultural Interventions in Maharashtra (CAIM), Govt. of Maharashtra, IFAD & SRTT, Outcome & Impact Assessment Specialist in PPOMU, Finance Department, Government of Odisha, and Manager-Monitoring & Evaluation in Dr. Reddy’s Foundation.
