Poorna Chandrika has joined CGG as Senior Knowledge Manager – HDRG, in November 2017. She has over twenty-three years of experience in the Development Sector. Her areas of expertise include Program Management (Sectoral as well as Integrated), Capacity Building, Strengthening Institutions at the grassroots level and second-order level in livelihoods, Micro Finance and Public Health.
She was associated with important programs such as NRM based Livelihoods, Community based Micro Finance, Livelihoods in disaster-prone areas, Rural Health and Sanitation and HIV prevention among marginalized groups.
She comes with a rich experience of working at middle and senior level management in state Government, Program implementing agencies, international technical support and funding organizations. She has facilitated knowledge groups (the consortium of organizations) on livelihoods and played a key role in managing the network/resource groups. She worked very closely with flagship and core programs of Government on Poverty Alleviation such as NRLM, MGNREGS and Financial Inclusion.
She has represented organizations across State, National and International forums and to her credit has publications on livelihoods, institutions in community-based microfinance and paper presentations in an International forum on HIV prevention.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Berhampur University, Odisha.
