Every year, various state governments implement numerous Economic Support Schemes (ESS) to assist the poor families through their respective Finance Corporation's Action Plans. CGG's OBMMS functions as a synergistic ecosystem cutting across 17 Corporations/Federations in GoTG. It facilitates the disbursement of subsidy benefits to BPL beneficiaries for the implementation of Self-Employment/Economic Support Schemes. This system was established to streamline previously divergent processes into a uniform common process. It captures the entire workflow of corporations for transferring ESS subsidies and implementing schemes through the concerned Banks, ensuring transparency.
To enhance transparency and efficiency, features such as built-in monitoring and the linking of all stakeholders from marginalized sections of society, private and public sector banks, and government officials were introduced onto a common platform.
As on Feb 2025, about 3.2 Lakh beneficiaries processed through the OBMMS website/portal for a total sum of Rs. 3690 Crore.
