Education Qualifications

Essential
|

A master's degree or higher in Civil / Mechanical

/ Electrical Engineering or Urban Planning / Business Administration / Management or Public Policy and social science or a related field.

Specialization in relevant areas such as infrastructure development, industrial engineering, project management, or urban infrastructure planning etc. would be preferred.

Desirable

In-depth knowledge of infrastructure policies, regulations, and industry best practices.

Proficiency in using advanced technologies and tools related to infrastructure planning, design, and implementation.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software allows for data – driven decision making and evidence – based programming.

Experience
|

Minimum 8 (eight) years' experience in infrastructure development or industry-related projects.

Proven track record of successful project management and execution in the infrastructure or industrial sector.

Ability to plan, oversee, and evaluate infrastructure and industry projects.
-
Coordination skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, government authorities, contractors, and relevant agencies.
-
Preference will be given to persons with work experience in Infrastructure & industry sector, implementation of programmes.

Job description / Duties & Responsibilities
|
-
Maintain synergy between the Planning Department, LKI and NITI Aayog
-
To assist state in achieving its objectives in collaboration with NITI Aayog and the LKI
-
Ability to conduct research, analyse data, and evaluate infrastructure and industrial trends to guide decision-making.
-
Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in infrastructure development and propose effective solutions.
-
Familiarity with sustainability and environmental considerations in infrastructure and industry projects.
-
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, including government officials, private sector representatives, and community members.
-
Capability to engage with local communities and address their concerns related to infrastructure and industrial projects.
-
Evaluation and assessment of existing strategies, methodologies, and systems to improve the socio-economic condition of the State
-
Preparation of development strategies, sectoral targets, socio economic goals and State Vision@ 2047, SDG reports as per the State's requirements and roadmap to achieve the same
-
Draft policy briefs, presentations, and other documents.

Coordination with development partners and technical agency concerned
-
Support mechanisms for strengthening horizontal and vertical coordination within Government.

Experience in Stake holder management

Experience in drafting reports and reviewing detailed project Reports

Prior experience with Government, UN agencies and other international organizations is desirable.

Knowledge and experience related to National/State planning

Languages Requirements

Excellent verbal and written English, Telugu language skills and demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural Environment.
