Recruitment Notification – Engagement of Professional for a Health Sector Project

The Centre for Good Governance (CGG), Hyderabad, invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for engagement on a contractual basis for a project in the Health Sector. The engagement is purely project-based and contractual in nature.

Role : Programme Coordination Specialist  – Health Sector

Required Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Public Policy or Public Administration or Development Management or Development Studies or Management/MBA or a related discipline.

Key Job Description

  • Provide integrated coordination support across different project components and implementation areas.
  • Consolidate implementation information received from different offices, programmes and levels of the health system.
  • Maintain an overall view of project milestones, timelines, dependencies and implementation progress.
  • Facilitate coordination on cross-cutting issues requiring inputs from multiple offices or levels of the health system.
  • Support linkages across primary, secondary and tertiary levels of care.
  • Identify systemic or recurring implementation bottlenecks and facilitate follow-up.
  • Maintain an integrated project action tracker, issue tracker and progress-monitoring framework.
  • Support preparation of consolidated progress reports, management briefs, presentations and analytical notes.
  • Support senior-level review meetings through preparation of briefing material, consolidation of inputs, documentation of decisions and follow-up.
  • Support compilation and organisation of information required for periodic review and verification.
  • Facilitate coordination with relevant external stakeholders, wherever required.
  • Document key developments, implementation lessons and emerging issues.
  • Support maintenance and regular updating of project dashboards/MIS, including consolidation of progress data, key indicators, milestones and other relevant implementation information

Relevant Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in management or coordination of large, multi-component projects/programmes, preferably in government, public-sector, development-sector or health-sector settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in overall implementation planning and programme coordination.
  • Experience in coordinating multiple workstreams, offices and stakeholders.
  • Experience in monitoring programme-level milestones, deliverables, dependencies and timelines.
  • Experience in identifying and facilitating resolution of cross-cutting implementation bottlenecks.
  • Experience in consolidating information from multiple implementation units.
  • Experience in supporting senior-level programme reviews.
  • Experience in preparing consolidated management reports, briefs and presentations.
  • Experience in tracking decisions, action points and follow-up actions.
  • Experience in maintaining programme-level documentation and reporting systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide analytical inputs for effective programme monitoring and implementation.

  1. Broad Responsibilities

  • Project and programme coordination, including planning, tracking of activities, milestones, deliverables and timelines.
  • Coordination among concerned Government offices, programmes, implementation teams and other stakeholders.
  • Monitoring of implementation progress and follow-up on pending activities, action points, dependencies and emerging issues.
  • Identification and facilitation of follow-up on implementation bottlenecks and cross-cutting issues.
  • Consolidation of information from different programmes, offices and implementation units for project monitoring and review.
  • Support to project review meetings, including preparation of briefing materials, presentations, documentation of decisions and follow-up actions.
  • Preparation of progress reports, management briefs, analytical summaries and other project-related documentation.
  • Maintenance and updating of project trackers, dashboards/MIS and supporting project records.
  • Support for compilation and organisation of information required for periodic reviews and verification.
  • Field visits, consultations and other project-related activities, as required.
  • Any other project-related responsibilities assigned from time to time.

  1. Nature of Engagement
  • The engagement will be purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project.
  • Posting will ordinarily be in Hyderabad. However, travel within the State, will be part of the assignment.
  1. Selection Process

The selection process may comprise one or more of the following stages:

  • Scrutiny of applications.
  • Shortlisting based on qualifications and relevant experience.
  • Interview
  • Verification of original certificates and credentials.
