Project Brief:

DEABAS/FMS is a Double-Entry Accrual-Based Accounting System developed by CGG to enhance financial governance by automating key financial processes across government organizations. It provides seamless integration, real-time data access, and compliance mechanisms, ensuring streamlined financial operations that meet regulatory standards. By improving transparency, efficiency, and accountability, DEABAS/FMS enables organizations to accurately present their financial position, resource management and supports decision-making. The system includes several modules like:

  • Functional modules for handling receipts, expenditures, payments, and financial reports
  • Revenue Management System for property tax demand, mutation processing, and revenue Tracking
  • Budget Module for monitoring budget allocations
  • Fixed Asset Register System for asset tracking and control
  • Inventory Module for managing purchases and stock levels.
  • Ticketing and tools have been added to our software

Together, these modules improve financial oversight, enhance governance, and ensure optimal utilization of resources. The DEABAS/FMS system is being utilized by the following user departments to enhance financial governance and improve service delivery:
