Project : Plant Quarantine Management System (PQMS)
User Department(s):
Ministry of Agriculture, Government of IndiaProject Brief:
CGG has developed and is providing IT support for the Plant Quarantine Management System (PQMS), an e-Governance solution designed to streamline plant import and export processes while ensuring compliance with quarantine regulations.
PQMS enables importers to apply online for Import Permits and Import Release Orders, while exporters can apply for Phytosanitary Certificates. The system enhances transparency by allowing users to track their application status and access historical records throughout the application lifecycle. By automating background workflows, PQMS accelerates application processing, reduces manual workload, and ensures regulatory compliance. Additionally, it provides searchable access to essential regulatory documents, such as the Plant Quarantine Order and Export Inspection & Certification procedures, making it easier for importers and exporters to refer to relevant guidelines.
