Project Brief:

CGG serves as the key IT partner for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), providing end-to-end technology solutions to enhance urban governance and citizen service delivery. CGG has developed and manages over 22 IT modules, including critical applications such as the GHMC content management website, property tax, POS machines, vacant land tax, trade license, birth and death certificates, grievance system, advertisements, Community Halls booking, My GHMC Mobile App, and so on. These systems facilitate seamless online property tax payments, trade license fee processing, grievance redressal, and efficient public service delivery. Additionally, CGG ensures real-time monitoring of municipal services, integrates digital payment gateways, and provides robust backend support for GHMC’s digital transformation initiatives.

By leveraging innovative technology solutions, CGG has supported GHMC in improving operational efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness to citizen needs. About 28+ lakh assessments (for property tax) are registered in the application. The solution is being improved year upon year and new services/modules are being added as per the requirements from the GHMC, and CGG also handles data in a robust Oracle database.

As part of the Government’s administrative restructuring, GHMC along with the merged 27 municipalities is proposed to be reorganised as CURE Region into 12 zones, 60 circles and 300 wards. Further, the Government restructured to three independent Commissionerate as:

  • GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation)
  • CMC (Cyberabad Municipal Corporation)
  • MMC (Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation)

CGG has successfully completed the merger of 27 municipalities to the CURE region and the trifurcation activities as per the newly aligned structure for all the modules supported by CGG and rolled out Corporation wise Websites & My CURE app to the citizens in CURE region; and has implemented the collection through POS machines as per the new structure.
