Experience

  • Should have an experience of over 10+ years solid experience of DB design and development of latest versions.

Educational Qualification

  • M. Tech, MCA, B.E (Comp), B. Tech with 60% marks

 JOB PROFILE:

  1. 10+ year’s solid experience of Oracle development under a 10g / 11g / 12c/ 19c environment.
  2. Advanced PL/SQL knowledge required.
  3. Must have very strong experience with creating PL SQL scripts.
  4. Must have strong PL SQL stored procedure, packages, functions, & triggers.
  5. Any wider SQL or DB experience would be desirable e.g. Postgresql, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL etc.
  6. Strong experience in tuning Oracle queries in large databases.
  7. Good experience in loading and extracting large data sets.
  8. Analytical and critical thinking skills; agile problem-solving abilities.
  9. Detail oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently with little or no supervision, and is committed to the highest standards of quality for the entire release process.
  10. Must have excellent communication skills.

Roles &Responsibilities:

Database Design and Solutions: Create and design effective database solutions and models, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Architecture Review: Develop and review database architecture, recommending improvements and best practices.

System Monitoring: Monitor system performance through testing, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.

Collaboration: Work with various project teams to ensure data meets required standards.

Technology Evaluation: Investigate new technologies to enhance and optimize standard reporting.

Data Modeling: Translate complex business and technical challenges into logical data models.

Training: Provide database training to employees and team members.

Hardware Assistance: Assist development teams in sizing hardware for database requirements.

Project Interaction: Collaborate with project teams and PL/SQL developers on database activities.

Database Auditing: Perform database audits for all projects and provide monthly reports on audit activities.

Critical Project Review: Review critical projects, suggesting clean-up of redundant tables and backup tables.

Performance Tuning: Optimize performance for large databases and submit monthly reports on recommendations.

Legacy Database Migration: Proactively study and execute migrations from legacy databases, submitting monthly reports on suggestions.

Architecture Review: Review database architecture for critical projects and provide monthly reports on findings and recommendations.

Compliance: Ensure audit compliance with CMMI, ISO, and ISMS standards.

Documentation: Update database policies, process documents, and architecture documents quarterly for all critical projects.

Technology Implementation: Implement and configure new technologies and tools, including open-source solutions.

Backup Verification: Check the last night’s backup for each live database.

Alert Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot alert log files for all instances.

Error Resolution: Trace and address errors identified in alert log files.

Database Links: Create and manage database links between databases as requested by project leaders.

Automated Scheduling: Create and maintain automated schedules (Cron jobs) for databases when new schemas are created.
