Job Title: PL/SQL Senior Technical Consultant
Experience Required: 12–15 years

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced PL/SQL Senior Technical Consultant (12 to 15 years’ experience) with deep expertise in database design, complex PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, and enterprise-scale system development. The role involves database designing scalable solutions, leading technical discussions, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring high-quality database deliverables in mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, complex queries, DBMS_SCHEDULER, DBMS_RANDOM, DBMS_CRYPTO, DBMS_STATS, UTL_FILE, UTL_HTTP, UTL_SMTP / UTL_MAIL.
· Lead database architecture design, schema modeling, partitioning strategies, and indexing best practices.
· Perform advanced SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, including Explain Plan analysis, hints, tracing, and AWR report analysis.
· Review, refactor, and enforce coding standards, best practices, and database security policies.
· Experience with data conversion and migration between ORACLE, SQL Server, Postgres and MySql.
· Build and maintain ETL processes, bulk data loading, and automation scripts.
· Work closely with application, BI, middleware, and DevOps teams for seamless integration.
· Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement long-term preventive solutions.
· Ensure high availability, data integrity, and performance for critical systems.
· Prepare technical design documents, data flow diagrams, ER Diagrams.
· Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
· Contribute to solution design, estimations, sprint planning, and architectural decisions.
Required Skills
· 12–15 years of strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL & PL/SQL database design and development
· Deep knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture, including memory structures, processes, undo/redo, and optimizer behavior.
· Expertise in performance tuning, indexing strategies, Explain Plans, SQL Trace, TKPROF, AWR analysis.
· Strong experience with partitioned tables, analytical functions, materialized views, advanced query optimization, and parallel processing.
· Proficiency in bulk operations (FORALL, BULK COLLECT), collections, dynamic SQL, pipelined functions.
· Strong understanding of constraints, triggers, sequences, security, roles, privileges.
· Experience handling large data volumes and high-transaction systems.
· Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex production environments.
· Experience integrating PL/SQL Procedure, package and functions with Java, .NET, APIs, middleware, or reporting tools.
Good-to-Have Skills
· Exposure to Oracle 19c/23c new features.
· Knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, SQLLine.
· Experience with ETL tools, Informatica or SSIS.
· Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
· Exposure to Tableau Report or Oracle APEX.
