CGG is the technical partner of the Government of Jharkhand for the development and maintenance of the Scholarship Disbursement System, covering both Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship schemes. The Pre-Matric Scholarship supports SC, ST, and BC students from Classes 1 to 10, with the objective of reducing dropout rates and encouraging continued education. The Post-Matric Scholarship supports SC, ST, and BC students from Class 11 up to higher education. Applications are submitted through the e-Kalyan portal and verified at the district level. Scholarships are disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to bank accounts—to the parent or student for Classes 1–8, and directly to the student for Classes 9–10 and above. Approximately 30 Lakh to 35 lakh students benefit from the system annually.
