User Department(s):

Andhra Pradesh State Election Commission (APSEC)

Project Brief:

The Andhra Pradesh State Election Commission (APSEC) project is designed to modernize and streamline electoral processes through mobile and web applications. It focuses on enhancing transparency, efficiency, and compliance with election regulations for Municipal Corporations, Municipalities, Zilla Parishads, Mandal Parishads, and Gram Panchayats. The project ensures that elections are conducted in a free, fair, and impartial manner by preparing and updating electoral rolls, appointing election officials i.e. Returning Officers and Polling Officers, and overseeing expenditure limits for candidates and political parties to prevent undue influence.

The project consists of several key modules, including the Electoral Rolls Management System (ERMS), Polling Personnel Randomization System (PPRS), Election Process Management System (EPMS), a Mobile App, and a Ticketing System. These modules help automate and streamline key election-related tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The use of technology enhances monitoring, data management, and voter accessibility, ultimately strengthening the electoral system in Andhra Pradesh. By integrating digital solutions, APSEC aims to make the election process more transparent, accessible, and well-regulated.
