The Telangana, Electronic Payment & Application System of Scholarships (ePASS) portal serves as a centralized platform for facilitating the online application and disbursement of scholarships to eligible SC, ST, BC, EBC, and Disabled Welfare students in the State of Telangana. Managed by the Government of Telangana, the portal has been streamlining the scholarship distribution process since 2018 by providing a user-friendly interface for students to apply for various government scholarship schemes. Through the ePASS portal, students can access information on available scholarships, eligibility criteria, application procedures, and track the status of their applications.
The portal enhances accessibility, transparency, and efficiency in scholarship administration while expediting the distribution process to ensure timely financial assistance to deserving students. It offers features such as online application submission, document verification, and direct benefit transfer (DBT) of funds to beneficiaries’ bank accounts, thereby minimizing procedural delays and bureaucratic hurdles. By leveraging digital technology, the Telangana ePASS portal supports the government’s objective of empowering students from economically weaker sections to pursue education without financial constraints, contributing to inclusive growth and social development in the State.
