Project Brief:

Mana Isuka Vahanam (MIV, English translation ‘My Sand Vehicle’) is a comprehensive web and mobile application designed to facilitate sand procurement and delivery management across Telangana. It offers citizens the convenience of ordering sand from anywhere and at any time, at a government-regulated price, with the ability to track delivery status through the mobile application and receive alerts at each stage of the process. Since its pilot launch in May 2019, TGMIV has demonstrated scalability and is currently operational in 12 districts of Telangana. The project is the recipient of the National eGovernance Award 2021.

In 2025–26, Coupon-Based Sand Booking System has been introduced on a pilot basis in four districts—Nizamabad, Khammam, Karimnagar, and Bhadradri Kothagudem. It is fully operational in Nizamabad, onboarding has begun in Khammam, and implementation is in progress in Karimnagar and Bhadradri Kothagudem. The system is planned to be rolled out across all districts in the state by the end of the next year.
