Centre for Good Governance (CGG), Hyderabad, celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great fervor and patriotism
The celebrations commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Sri Rajendra Nimje, Director General, CGG, followed by the National Anthem.
⨠The program featured inspiring contributions from employees and their families:
- Newly joined Trainee Software Developers, Ms. Gayathri and Mr. Vishnu, representing the youth of the nation, shared their insights on India’s achievements in education and agriculture respectively.
- Ms. Advitha Jella, daughter of Mr. Lokesh Jella, Senior Project Manager delivered an impromptu address at just 10 years of age, leaving the audience deeply inspired.
đś The cultural performances brought the patriotic spirit alive and mesmerized the audience:
- Dr. Murdula Nimje moved hearts with her soulful and melodious singing performance of “Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon”.
- Ms. Komal captivated the gathering with her heartfelt presentation of “Vaishnav Jan To”.

A special highlight was the spirited rendition of “Vande Mataram… Le teri mitti tuze lautadi…Sujalam Suphalam” by Mr. Shashank Nimje & Sri Rajendra Nimje, Director General which was received with great enthusiasm.
đ¤ The leadership of CGG delivered thought-provoking speeches:
- Sri Rajendra Nimje, Director General, CGG, reflected on India’s freedom struggle, paid homage to martyrs, and explained the symbolism of the tricolor. He highlighted India’s vision of becoming a Developed Nation by 2047, emphasizing the role of AI, digital sovereignty, and digital governance. He reminded the audience that “AI may not replace people, but people who use AI will replace those who don’t”, underlining how innovation will shape Naya Bharat. He further stressed that India is moving away from merely celebrating freedom to now demanding digital sovereignty — ensuring control over data, technology, and governance systems. His message connected CGG’s mission directly to building a stronger, self-reliant, and digitally empowered India, highlighting how CGG is shaping the future of governance and is well-prepared to contribute to the nation’s digital transformation.
- Sri Sangramsingh Patil, Additional Director General (ADG) spoke on the theme “Naya Bharat”, stressing that the true meaning of independence is reflected in India’s growing confidence on the global stage — citing India’s strong response to tariffs imposed by the US as an example. He also invoked Rabindranath Tagore’s “Where the mind is without fear” to inspire the audience, and shared insights on the Outstanding Project Manager Award, while also highlighting the sports and cultural events organized as part of the celebrations.
- Sri Devi Prasad, Director, CGG, delivered an insightful address on the importance of Independence Day. He recalled the story of poet Kavi Pradeep, who composed “Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon”, and how the song moved Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to tears when sung by Lata Mangeshkar.
- Mr. Kalyan Kumar Kardas, Associate Director emphasized the spirit of independence encouraging the audience to carry forward the values of freedom, responsibility, and innovation in their work.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, celebrating the spirit of participation and achievement.
The Republic Day celebrations at CGG not only reflected patriotism but also reinforced the organization’s commitment to good governance, digital innovation, and nation-building.
