Prajavani@2: CGG Recognised for Excellence in Public Grievance Redressal
On the occasion of the second anniversary of Prajavani, the flagship public grievance redressal programme held at Praja Bhavan, the Government of Telangana marked a significant milestone. Prajavani stands out as a unique initiative in the country, strengthening transparent, citizen-centric governance.
As part of the celebrations, two notable achievements were highlighted:
• Sri Ravi Gupta, IPS (Retd.), Executive Vice-Chairman & DG, CGG, was felicitated by the Hon’ble Dy Chief Minister of Telangana for his outstanding contributions to grievance redressal during his tenure as Special Chief Secretary to the Government, Home Department, Government of Telangana.
• The CGG team was also felicitated for their instrumental role in the development and maintenance of the Prajavani application at Praja Bhavan, which has been pivotal in ensuring efficient tracking and resolution of public grievances.
Since its inception, Prajavani has received a total of 1,07,829 petitions, of which 64,923 petitions have been successfully resolved, reflecting the programme’s growing impact and effectiveness.
