Telangana Rising: Showcasing Telangana’s Spirit Through Art, Tradition, and Innovation
The Prize Distribution Ceremony at CGG, held as part of the Telangana Formation Day 2025 celebrations, was a vibrant and memorable finale to a day filled with pride and cultural expression. All participants were given a huge round of applause for their creativity, teamwork, attention to detail, and their ability to beautifully bring to life Telangana’s rich history, culture, traditions, diversity, development journey, and growing infrastructure. Their innovative use of AI tools to enhance storytelling and visual presentation was particularly commendable.
In the Rangoli Competition, the first prize was awarded to the team led by Mr. Rakesh, SPM, representing Hyderabad, followed by the team led by Ms. Suneela, PM, representing Karimnagar, which secured the second prize. The third prize was won by the team led by Mr. Lokesh, SPM, representing Warangal. Each of the twelve rangoli designs stood out as a tribute to the essence of Telangana, showcasing its cultural spirit, heritage structures, and regional uniqueness. The entries were judged on six broad parameters, ensuring a thoughtful and well-rounded evaluation.
In the Best Traditional Outfit segment, the women’s category showcased vibrant cultural representations of Telangana. Ms. Prathyusha Boini (SSD) won the first prize for her beautiful portrayal of the Bathukamma festival, reflecting the spirit and tradition of Telangana’s women. The second prize was awarded to Ms. R. Sandhya Rani, who represented the colorful Lambadi tribal attire, highlighting the rich indigenous heritage of the state. Ms. Hemantha Lakshmi secured the third prize with her depiction of the Koya tribe. In the men’s category, Mr. G. Manoj claimed the first prize for showcasing a traditional tribal look that symbolized Telangana’s rural roots, while Mr. R. Ashish earned the second prize for creatively presenting the unique traditions of the state. Mr. V. Dinesh received the third prize for wearing a pancha with traditional tribal attire, effectively representing the cultural essence of Telangana's tribal communities.
The entire event truly embodied the spirit of “Telangana Rising,” celebrating unity, identity, innovation, and the heritage of a state that continues to inspire progress and pride.
